Cyber crime affects everyone from bankers and corporations, to small businesses and individual citizens.  Technological advancement  has added great conveniences to our daily life, but it has also allowed criminals to reach victims in new ways.  Remaining vigilant about  your online life can keep you safe.  On Thursday, Jan. 18th at 1:30 PM, visit the library to learn about trends in cyber crime, which range from credit card fraud and identity theft to romance and real estate scams.  This program is present by an officer from the Texas City Police Department with an advanced certification in computer and mobile forensics from the United States Secret Service.
