LEGO Problem-Solving at the LibraryFor children ages 8-12. This program’s purpose is to encourage children to build their creativity, problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, and engineering skills. Participants will be prompted with a challenge and will build their solution to it — there are no wrong answers! In order to facilitate the problem-solving process, only participants and library staff will remain in the room during the program. At the end of the session, parents and caregivers should come in to see what the participants have created.

The program lasts about an hour and a half and takes place in the library’s Holland Meeting Room. It is free, with no sign-up required. We will provide LEGOs; please do NOT bring personal LEGOs.

NOTE: Parents and caregivers of children under the age of 8 must remain in the library during the entire program.
